Please note that prices listed for the 1-year, 4-year and 7-year coatings include coating the paint and trim and a single stage paint correction. If you want to upgrade to a two-stage paint correction the price will vary depending on the condition of the paint and size of vehicle because of the amount of prep work and time involved.
What is a Ceramic Coating
A Ceramic Coating adds a protective layer for your vehicle's exterior that goes beyond traditional waxes and sealants. A Ceramic Coating is made up of nanoparticles that bond to the paint creating a strong and durable barrier. Unlike a wax that sits on top of the surface and wears overtime, a ceramic coating bonds with the paint molecules, forming a long-lasting shield against a variety of environmental contaminants such as UV rays, bird droppings, dirt and acid rain. A coating is made of silica dioxide or quartz which have hydrophobic properties. This means that water beads up and rolls off the surface easily and takes dirt and grime with it. This makes regular maintenance much easier. A paint decontamination and paint correction must be performed before applying a coating. After applying the coating there curing time of 24 to 48 hours.
